Pinkbike Poll: Does Bike Weight Matter?
@XC-SCRUB: Same.. I mean, it says assuming strength and reliability remains the same!! Who wouldn't want a light bike!? I have been able to ride a xc bike at 7 kg.. amazing. I would love a 29er, 140mm travel under 10 kg..woohoo...

Yamaha to Launch Their Own eMTB Lineup
@YamahaBicycles: "The more that mountain bikers can unify, the better opportunity we have to create a meaningful message to governing bodies." But you are not making mountain bikes. You are making electric motor bikes with token pedals attached.

Sam Hill Goes Full Enduro - Cairns DH World Champs 2017
@Whipperman: A DH bike will be faster over the rough stuff. That leads to the pedally sections, carrying momentum on a DH bike or pedalling more on a Enduro style bike. I have seen Epics ridden and crashed on it ! A enduro bike "may" be slightly faster on the flat.. It will come down to overall skill and fitness, regardless of bike.

Your Essential Guide to the Cairns DH World Champs 2017
I saw Sam and his mechanic today walking through the pits with a Nukeproof mega sporting a very flash paint job, carrying a set of triple clamps.... Wonder why they would paint their enduro frame unless they were going to use it. Lets see how many others forgo their DH sled?

So much positive energy comes from Nyquist. Just the happiness shown when riding what many would not admit to having fun on as its not "extreme" enough..

2018 Specialized Turbo Levo FSR Carbon - First Look
...... but is has a motor, oh wait, assisted. so it must be ok then,, no, not really. NOT EVEN CLOSE. As others have mentioned, people who exclusively ride a eLECTRIC MOTOR bike dont understand how difficult it is to get access rights in National Parks, or what is involved in building environmentally sound trails. I just hope they realise that trails built for descending are not fair game for riding ebikes up. These bikes are heavy, and do cause more damage to trails . Its anecdotal but logical. Please PINKBIKE, stop pandering to Specialized and remove this ADVERT. Why do you even think its acceptable to show this? Leave it to EMTBR to advertise these monstrosities.

Staff Rides - Mike Levy's Rocky Mountain Element
"Just imagine if there was some way to carry your tools on your bike, like a bag or something that straps to your seat... Man, that'd be clever. Wait, you're telling me that seat bags have been around for decades? And that I don't have to strap tools to my frame or slide them down into my steerer tube or bottom bracket spindle? There are all these (sometimes) clever "solutions" for carrying essentials on rides, and it's almost like some riders think they're too cool to use a seat bag. If you've met me, you know that I'm definitely not too cool." OMG... my kindred spirit...
