[Updated After Racing] Video Round Up: Carnage, POVs & Highlights from the Megavalanche
@JohnWestbrook1 @nlbtaylor : What years did he podium on standard bikes? Cannot see that in any results... Nothing against ebikes, they are great, but the level of competition in the ebike race is dramatically different to the standard race so you would hope for at least enough information for it not to be misleading... It cheapens someone who finished 50th in the standard race but would comfortably beat Ben to not have the distinction of which race it was. Otherwise I could race the Megavalanche Amateur version - finish 20th and claim I finished 20th at the Megavalanche. It isn't a lie, just misleading. He does that kind of thing a lot I have noticed, thus the comment. I do not think Nico Vouilloz would say he won the EWS overall title last year in any interview or social media post. He would specify it was the ebike series.

Video: Racing the EWS from a Van - Tom's €20 Challenge
Probably only had 20euros left to his name after paying the absolutely outrageous entry fee. Then that €20 would be blown instantly when they inform him it's mandatory to buy one of their dreadful number boards and that he has to buy a separate lift pass to be able to practise. Then that it's impossible to park Sharjah's van in any carpark in town as they are all closed unless they want to pay another €60 euros. But rest assured if he finishes TOP 5 at that EWS he will at least make his entry fee back in prize money..... Oh no, wait a minute, he won't! Tom is great, EWS are not.

[Updated After Racing] Video Round Up: Carnage, POVs & Highlights from the Megavalanche
Ben Moore just failing to mention that it was the ebike race he went from 104 to podium in. He is the king of leaving out little bits of information and making it sound like he achieved more than he has. It would be great to see Stefan Peter get some much deserved publicity having won the main race for the second year in a row.

Final Results from the Men's XC at the Tokyo Olympics
Yeh good on Pidcock! Unfortunately British Cycling are worse than useless when it comes to mountain biking though. If they were just useless that would be fine, instead they are actively discouraging and try to make things as difficult as possible for riders(including those who earn a living from the sport) for absolutely no reason other than to be wankers, it's quite telling on the organisations overall feeling towards MTB in general. Don't see them changing their ways because of an olympic medal unless the personnel and attitude within BC changes first.
