Development Story: Cannondale's Wild New Single-Sided, Single-Crown XC Fork
Who has the patent on the righty? Sounds like a great shock technically but it's too far off in left field for me.

First Look: Schwalbe’s New, More Aggressive Hans Dampf - Garda Trentino 2018
Where does the Panaracer fit in comparison to Maxxis and Schwalbe specifically something like the Dart Classic up front and a Smoke in the back. I've had great results with this combination for aggressive trail but I'm considering a change to MM and RR or something similar. Definitely no NN after reading this tread.

Thule Vital 3L Hydration Pack - Review
Wish it had a couple mesh elastic water bottle type pockets at the hip belt, easy access for bear spray and or energy packs and food on the go.

Pinkbike Poll - Would You Take a Free 250 Watts if No One Knew?
Mike should be banned from creating polls. Worst poll ever; crosses doping politics with e-bike with a completely hypothetical impossibility. Illegal doping is morally wrong and potentially dangerous, e-bikes on MTB trail system is currently controversial. Morally wrong & potentially dangerous? Maybe (think increased uphill use and right of way). As for free watts... if I could ride with the energy, power and dexterity of 10 years ago that would be great, but it's not worth the medical risk.

Throwback Thursday: Sprung 2 Peaty at Home - Video
Yup helmets didn't become common place until early early in the 90's and cars didn't have seatbelts in the back seat until 1986 It's a miracle any of us survived our youth.

Should the Derailleur Die? Zerode's Gearbox-Equipped Taniwha - Review
Hmmm $9,500 for a bike that doesn't pedal well, can't shift under load, has less favorable shift jump, is moderately heavy, grip-shifts and grips that look like they were cut with a butter knife. I have so so many other choices for that amount of money that all out perform this bike. The only reason to buy this bike is if you're more concerned about starting conversations then actually riding. From the 1930's Adler 3Gang to 2000 Honda to 2018 Pinion ... based on history we still have a long wait ahead of us before this makes sense.
