Cane Creek DBair CS Review
A direct lie is stated in this review. It claims they used a 2013 Scott genius 720 to test the bike. But this can not be. I actually bought this shock from cane creek based on this review. I mounted it. (200mm x 55mm just like the original Dt Swiss) But when testing the clearance the can of the shock would come in contact with the bottom of the Top tube at 1/4" left in the travel. No way to reverse the shock either as the piggy back would hit the link. I was bummed. And had to return it. Mike Levy is a liar so this brings into question everything else he has ever written. I tried to contact him personally on this matter but he would not respond. That being said. The Cane Creek DBair CS seems like a good shock and is very plush from my ride around the house. But there is no way I could actually take it on the trail with such a clearance issue. No, he never tested it on a Genius. He made that part up.
