Pinkbike Poll: Would You Rather Shuttle or eMTB?
@AndreyNW: ebikes have a motor. I don't think they belong on non motorized trails. Pretty easy distinction to make. I see that you can make weak arguments in favor of not having a line at which things stop.

How can you expect other countries to engage in commerce with you until you get the troll problem under control?

First Ride: Privateer's New 141 Trail Bike - Across The Pond Beaver
@roma258: I don't think GP bikes are a good comparison to mountain bikes, especially because I don't know that their geo numbers are available, and they use a variety of things to change the geo on the fly (holeshot devices, squatting device for corner exit). I do remember a journo/former racer riding a ducati (Michael Neeves) GP bike saying it felt significantly longer and less agile than a superbike.

Pinkbike Poll: Would You Rather Shuttle or eMTB?
@AndreyNW: I do not think ebikes and motorcycles are comparable, I was using a dirt bike on a MTB trail as an example of something that would be fun but almost anyone would agree is a terrible idea. This was done to show how patently absurd the "fun" justification is. As for the rest of your comment, I don't disagree with you on some points (one way trails) and do on others that you've tried to make too simplistic based off my own experiences. Nuance and thought needs to be applied when determining access for bicycles with motors, especially as the ability of the batteries to provide power the riders are incapable of producing on their own will rapidly increase, and thus the ability to ride with the max level of assist for longer and longer times. If you don't think this will increase conflict on some very crowded trails (CO front range where I ride) you are burying your head in the sand.

Pinkbike Poll: Would You Rather Shuttle or eMTB?
@norona: this infant was answering a question in an attempt to edify why people were so annoyed in the comments. You could've learned too, since I believe you were spouting off that this post wasn't showing for people with e-bike content filters on.

Pinkbike Poll: Would You Rather Shuttle or eMTB?
@AndreyNW: Oh, so as long as something is fun you should just get to do it without question. There are some non motorized trails I'd love to take my dirtbike on, it sure would be fun. I'm sure it's "fun" to blast up a two way trail with 400w of assistance and create a higher closing speed for everyone else on the non-motorized trail.

Pinkbike Poll: Would You Rather Shuttle or eMTB?
@armeniandave: This poll still appears if you have the e-bike filter on. On the same day the banner ad is for a e bike called the shuttle, imagine that.

First Ride: 2021 Trek Slash - Now With Snack Storage
1. The margin goes to Marketing to come up with reasons why useless crap like the knockblock is necessary. Potentially more legit reason: when it's sold well under MSRP, the clueless customer thinks they got a good deal and can tell their friends about it. There's a watch company that does this, posts super high MSRPs for garish, trashy junk watches that sell for less than half that.
