Surly Instigator Frame L, wheels, dropper

$700 USD
I'm parting out most of this frame to build a bike for my wife, these are the parts that won't work on her new bike. So selling this 'almost' complete bike. It also includes a fat wheel and fat fork to convert to a fat bike in the winter. Basically, all this needs is brakes, 140mm 27.5 fork, bars/stem, and a drivetrain. The package deal includes: -Surly Instigator 2.0 frameset in SolidGold Gold (Large) w/ MDS dropout kit (multiple drop outs include SS, horizontal, or thru axle for use with direct mount Shimano derailer) -Surly Rabbit Hole 26" wheel set with DT240S hubs -Surly Dirt Wizard 26x3 tires (good tread, set up tubeless, needs sealant) -Giant Contact Switch dropper seat post -King headset -Surly Ice Cream Truck fat fork w/ King adapter race (fits the headset) -Surly Marge Lite wheel with Hope Pro II hub and DT Swiss Spokes (not set up tubeless) -26x3 Zee T-Fatty tire (brand new) -26x4 45NRTH Husker Du -26x4 45NRTH Escalator (has sewn up hole) All the info is out on Surly's website as far as dimensions, frame specs, what parts fit it, etc. This is a super fun bike and just EATS Buffalo Creek, but I would rather my wife have a bike than have multiple mountain bikes right now.

RockShox Monarch + Plus Rear Shock 7.5x2.0 190x51

$250 USD
RockShox Monarch Plus Rear Shock 7.5x2.0 190x51 Low compression and low rebound tune. With 21.8mm wide reducers for 6mm bolts. This shock came new from Turner Bikes and was used on a DW-Link 5.Spot. Really great condition. Only getting rid of it because I purchased an Avalanche Chubie. Price includes shipping to lower 48 US. Alaska/Hawaii/Canada PM me for a quote. Local pickup in south Denver, Colorado also works.

Real Talk on Bikepacking the Colorado Trail
Hard tail makes it easier to carry stuff in my experience. You won't be shredding 50mph with all that crap hanging off anyway. Plus a HT is way more efficient in the brutal climbs. But then again, some of the climbs out here are so brutal with a loaded bike that it's more efficient (calorie burning wise) and just as fast to just hike-a-bike. Another reason why I prefer flats with Five Tens for bikepacking out here. Kudos guys. I've yet to do the whole thing. Too worried about the wilderness bypasses, but glad to see it's pretty easy to hitch hike.

OneUp Shark 10-Tooth Cluster and MiniDriver - Review
We put the Sunrace on my buddy's bike because it was cheaper than buying another 11-36 and a 42t. Works great. Really surprised more people don't know about that gem.
