@Linc: Centerlock came out 5 years before 15mm axles became a thing. 15mm axles were a collaboration with Fox with the last generation of 9 speed XTR.

Why Your Bike Might Have Less Travel Than Claimed

You can actually mix and match Shimano 12 speed derailleurs and shifters with SRAM eagle shifters and derailleurs. The ratio is so close that it doesn't matter. I am running an XO1 shifter with an XT derailleur and it is perfect. I have done the opposite too. This doesn't work with anything less than 12 speed though.

UCI has a rule of no more than 30% can be paved. Generally the starting hill and the berms are asphalted and everything else is dirt. It is very manicured dirt with a coating of sealant to help control water, but still dirt.

@jaame: bmx pro's consistently hit high 2000's. Even top amateurs do mid 2000's. Power is about accelerating and no cycling discipline spins like bmx. We easily hit 180-200 rpm's.
