Video: Remy Metailler Guides 4 Riders Down Rupert in Squamish for the First Time
That was painful to watch, as a coach your liability insurance would be in the trash can. Rest assured if anything had gone wrong on any of those features that were too advanced for the those riders you'd be getting sued to kingdom come. I think it's called, 'Progression', and starts with correct body position.

Video: 'Honestly, It Elevated the Sport' - Aaron Gwin Discusses his Impact on World Cup Racing
I think the difference between downhill and motocross is 8 races a season compared to 60 races or there abouts.

Interview: Kate Courtney on Head Injuries, World Champs & Recovery
Look at those book recommendations! What a load of shite. You kids should try reading, 'Lonesome Dove', by Larry McMurtry if you want to understand endurance.

Josh Bryceland Takes On Land Management Role, Asks Riders to Refrain From Reckless Building
Well done Josh, you have my 100% backing on this. I'm one of the old boys of my local scene. Over the years we have established a trail network that pretty much blended with the natural environment, flowing single track with 'enhanced natural features' and some aesthetic hand built features, no borrow pits, no rotting wood piles for bulking out take offs. In the last year we've seen mountain biking explode due to every other sport being inaccessable because of Covid. It seems that part of the new wave of mountain bikers can't go out the door without a shovel in their backpack. By all means ride (whilst the golf course is closed) but please leave the shovel at home.

Video: Matt Jones Builds & Rides an Oak Tree Barrel Roll
All the local trails have been shut down in my neck of the woods. I'm 75 and have been shredding these woods since I was a nipper. You young bucks need to put your spades away and ride what nature put there, you ain't the first to ride up a tree and back flip off it!

Must Watch: Gee Atherton Rides HUGE, Exposed Jumps in 'The Ridgeline'
A beautiful natural ridge-line formed over millions of years, hacked to pieces in a few days. The skills here are really impressive and the Athertons have done a great deal to promote mountain biking in Wales, the land of my birth. The revenue generated is hugely important and it's undeniable that exposed ridge-lines make for dramatic drone footage, but please be mindful of the damage you are doing to the natural environment.
