US pricing is always listed without sales tax (I think VAT does not apply to the US, they call it sales tax I believe but basically is is the same)...therefore add another 7% on top of it and also add the usual customs charge for international shipping into foreign countries. Therefore the price difference between the US pricing and the EU pricing is not so much different really. However, since there are no customs charges between US and Canada (due to NAFTA) the canadian pricing seems a bit too high really, most likely Spec is expecting that canadian customers will pay the higher price as the income is higher in Canada...thats normal product management, every country has its own price list, same with cars for example
