Aug 3, 2022On One Hello Dave With Rock Shox Forks
$400 GBPHi all,
Selling my 29er Hello Dave frame and fork.
Let me just start with sizing. I'm just under 6ft and I chose the XL. These are long bikes but the wheelbase makes them crazy stable. This bikes has been everywhere and done all types of trails.
One of the best bikes I have owned and loved the most and also put the most amount of miles on.
I bought it the day they were released as I knew I had to have one. These were the old Sick bikes stock that a Taiwanese supplier made and didn't get paid for. Just for reference I had a Marino and the welding and quality is way better on this.
Overall condition is pretty good but I have looked after it really well. I treated the inside of the tubes with boiled linseed oil before I started to use it through winters. It comes with a Nukeproof seatclamp and purple Superstar headset.
Forks are 150mm RS35 with custom closed cell foam token as I like a lot of ramp on the forks. Also for the money these are a great fork.
Looking for £400 based in Stourbridge, West Midlands can post for additional.

$200 GBPManitou Machete TS Air 29er Boost Forks 140mm.
I have the manual and spacer to convert them down to 120mm. Some marks on the crown from cable rub but easily disguised with electrical tape.
195mm steered. Work very well, they haven’t really had a lot of use. Only selling as I need a set of forks with 150/160mm travel for a a new bike. If you have some and fancy a trade let me know.
£200 based in Stourbridge but they are already in a box if you need shipping.

Bike hasn't been used in a while as I have been using my 29er hardtail, it had new frame bearings installed not long before it went away. Forks also had a service but with it sitting for a while you might want to have the forks and shock serviced again. Reverb was also bled and functions fine. Just had new lower headset bearing, new BB bearings, new gear cables and new brake pads. I even have the manual for it. Most of the new parts were not even needed but they are basic items that imI think make a big difference to the feel of the bike.
Downsides are that the forks have a mark on the left leg which I have attached pictures off. They aren't deep so don't affect performance or create and oil leaks. The rear brake cable guide has a section cracked off it which I have included a picture off. This doesn't effect anything as you can still use the guide it's just worth mentioning and the wheels have the odd ding but still run smoothly. I only run inner tubes so I have never used them tubeless.
If you have any questions just ask and I also have a load more photos if anyone wants to see anything else.
Based in Stourbridge West Midlands but happy to meet people if you're driving some distance.

Finals Photo Epic: Too Close For Comfort - Maribor DH World Cup 2019
Totally agree. Literally avoided all social media all day and log on to Rud Bull and its the first thing I see. I was trying to avoid looking too much as I'm sure this was the same set up at least year. While it was still ace to watch it takes the edge off the excitement. Don't mind them having it on there but come on who goes on there just to watch the winning run, just hide it further along the toolbar. I bet 90% of the people are on there to catch up on the whole event.
