It seemed like only yesterday when Enduro Pilipinas staged the Philippines’ 3rd ever Enduro race, in the Cebu province. This was back in 2013 and I was one of the aspiring competitors under the OZRacing banner. Just recently, last Oct 17, 2015, Cebu was once again the venue for this season’s 4th leg of Enduro Pilipinas. With 3 three new challenging tracks, riders were about to face off on another kind of adventure—Cebu style. The organizers, tried to raise the bar higher, by choosing three of the more technical tracks in the mountains, with the weather raising that bar a couple of notches higher by relentlessly raining down on the mountains, making a huge part of the track as mush as pudding on a picnic with more pronounced rain ruts. For this race, I decided to take pictures, and manage the riders under the OZRacing flagship. This was a really good decision considering I got to ride the sick tracks, along with other riders, chat with those who decided to rest along the track, take pictures of riders in action, and take my sweet time doing so. Thus, here is the race summary from my eyes.
Once again, the event was visited by teams from all over the Philippines, with top dog riders like Nilo Estayo, Jr Barba, Wendell Barba, and many more.A lot of teams such as OZRacing, Team Sipat, Team Barba, V12, CTB, Outbreak, JNTrailbangers and many more, had their riders join in on the fun. Some of the riders were transported by a dump truck. Feminino Category winners, props to Hannah who got 3rd despite running chainless on stage 2. The Mountain biker friendship manifests with these contestants, as Hannah, while running on a special stage would slow down and ask a fellow competitor if they were ok, during a wipe out, and Gerevel, from a different team, tries to help Hannah fix her borken chain after
