Autumn Riding in New England - Photo Epic
I love living in the Northeast. So underrated, yet the riding is some of the best anywhere. Great photos, think I'm going to go ride now.

Getting to Know Britney White - Pacific Northwest Freerider
A lot of ladies I know that shred are former/current equestrians/cowgirls (myself includedl). But I agree, horse girls are tough as nails (as most have taken a lot of hard falls at some point) and there are a lot of parallels between moving on a horse and a bike.

Trailforks Tutorial: Adding to the Directory
Ditto, trailforks saved my butt a few weeks back; helped me find my way out of the woods when I got off trail. With dusk approaching and no light, it would have definitely been a cold night in the woods. Likewise, I've also been more inclined to check out new trail systems without having to try to find someone to guide me around. Great app, recommend it to every MTBer!

Quality Time - Video and Photo Epic
I feel like I'm in the fortunate minority that have found a partner to ride with. Even though riding by myself or with friends is fun, there's something amazing about sharing what I love most with my boyfriend. Hope to make it here someday to ride with him

Trailer: The Line
These videos really irk me. Why can't you just make a video of women shredding, and I mean really shredding (like plenty of women are capable of), and not ever draw attention to the fact that "OH HEY WE'RE WOMEN". If the end goal is to be on equal footing as men in this sport (which trust me, I desperately want, being a chick and all), then why don't we stop drawing attention to the fact that we're the minority. Ya wanna know what would be really empowering and inspiring to me as a chick? A video with women absolutely ripping up the trail, but without mentioning that it's about chicks. To me, all this girl-power crap is a catch-22; by constantly acknowledging that we're the minority, we're separating ourselves even more. It's patronizing and honestly proving the opposite point. You don't see men prefacing their videos with "As a mtb'er and a male". Of course a lot of chick riders have courage, confidence, and push boundaries. It should be a given; of course we're fucking rad and have courage and confidence..why the fuck do we alway have to talk about it and how about we just prove it with our riding. New campaign if anyone's interested. A movie with chicks absolutely shredding (I mean like sending big jumps, riding gnarly stuff, stuff that's on par with what you see in other mtb movies), no excessive slow-mo, no soft music, just sick, flat out, shredding. No mention of "finding courage, confidence, etc", just awesome riding that proves that fact.

Thunder Mountain - New England's Newest Downhill Park
This place is great; went there for opening weekend and had an absolute blast. Can't wait to go back; and since this is only a little over an hour from me, I can definitely see myself getting a season pass in the future.

Video: Klunkin' Ain't Easy
Just got "Bike" magazine in the mail today and they had an article about this. I always thought it'd be fun to do a DH demolition derby type thing on shitty clunker bikes, didn't realize this was actually a thing.
