Giant Reign SX

$2300 USD
2017 Giant Reign SX MSRP $3650 Frame- Medium (longggg reach,I ride large typically but loved this bike too much to care) 27.5 wheel with 160mm rear travel, aluminum, can sell as a frame possibly for right price. Fork- Fox 36 Performance Elite 27.5 FIT4 boost with KAbolt, 170mm, Black (super fancy, way better than kashima in my opinion) shock- DHX2 rvs coil with 500# sls spring upgrade (will include stock 400# steel spring) Drivetrain- GX 11sp 11-42t with MRP sxg chainguide, getting new chain and cassette soon, I have new bottom bracket needs to be put in yet Brakes- Sram Guide RS, never issues, stop fast, new pads, 203mm rotors all around wheels- 27.5 new this year raceface arc 30 hoops on the giant tracker hubs that spin great still Tires- New this year Terrene Chunk Tough 2.3's and a spare Minion dhrII WT 2.5 included, tubeless with stans and new tape and valves of course Giant dropper with nice remote Hussefelt stem Lizard Skins North Shore Grips Stock Handlebar and seat or possibly my SDG duster, Chester pedals or bottle cage could be included if wanted for the right price Sadly, I put a good dent in the rear triangle and put on a new one that doesn't match color. I possibly didn't need to due to the severity of the dent and I would bet the rear triangle is still rideable (will be included as well), but I personally didn't want to risk it. Got the new triangle from Giant. New triangle means new frame bearings were put in New is $3650. I'm not set yet on selling but the colors is bothering me and I'm considering long travel 29ers and/or also having a xc bike too. This bike can ride anything, not an amazing pedaller but it gets the job done for trail to Enduro to DH or park. So much fun to ride. I am 6' and it could be just a touch bigger but I love the feel. Will consider trades or shoot my up with an offer.

EWS Bike Check: Cecile Ravanel's Commencal Meta AM V4
@ZiggyRibetto: i have a 2015 yellow origin plus with just sram db3s ill try tightening it up. thats a good idea. the foam just seems like too much a dirt collecter to me.

EWS Bike Check: Cecile Ravanel's Commencal Meta AM V4
@yonibois: what v4 do you have? i feel like they might be doing something different on the higher end ones. I don't really want to put a bunch of foam in bc that will collect a lot of dirt and moisture in the down tube. there mist be like a different cable out there or something like that.

okay. but these v4s make a lot of clanking with the housings in the internal routing. i want to know how they stop that bc its really annoying.

Ask Pinkbike: Shock Adjustments, Upgrading a Drivetrain, and DH Helmet Options
PB should put together an article on MIPS and make a list of popular brands that use it. I've been looking and a lot of brands don't show well that they sell MIPS, like Troy Lee for instance.
