The outcome of this year’s edition approaches quickly and the battle rages on Samoëns stages. Tensions are high and the point gaps in the overall are ridiculously small. Give your best playing with the risk of losing everything you’ve achieved on a crash or a mechanical issue or keep your current position by staying safe in your comfort zone? Negative. The title contenders have chosen the first option. It's also, for sure, thanks to Adrien Dailly’s presence—the current EWS leader, that all the title contenders pushed themselves to the limits in order to ride among the best of this discipline.

The long, sinuous and steep stages of Samoens were the spot of a great battle. Nicolas Queré and Camille Servant achieved a great performance by winning one of the nine stages each in front of Dailly. Ongoing in his results, Nico took second place on the podium on the weekend and keeps his lead in the overall of this edition. But beware of Dimitri Tordo, who’s close to him, too close to let Nico chill during the last round of the French Enduro Series by Parts 8.3 in Les Orres. Suspense is the air.

On the ladies side, no one was able to stop Mélanie Pugin, who smashed all the stages. The former downhill racer felt very comfortable on these amazing trails of Samoens and by the way, it was her first race of the year. Estelle Charles flipped the doubt on Julie Duvert—the current leader, after the first day of racing. She had a 24 second lead on Julie after the five timed stages of Saturday. Not in the best shape after a few crashes, Julie’s racing spirit awoke on Sunday. In the end, she steps onto the second step of the podium with a four second lead over Estelle.

Albin Cambos remains the best in the Juniors category. This young and talented rider from Millau never felt endangered even if he claims that the stages were very physical. He reinforces his first position in the overall with a lead of 87 points in front of the second, Tom De Carlo.

The Master 1 category will be very interesting to watch during the last round of the Enduro Series in Les Orres because there’s only a 40 point difference between first, Fabien Volet, and the third, Denis Bonnet in this category after the round of Samoens. A great battle is about to happen with Stephane Valverde on the second place.

In the Master 2 category, Gilles Doze will come to chill in Les Orres. His very comfortable lead of 230 points over the second already calls him the winner of this year’s edition.

The rest period won’t be long, our talented riders get back on track this weekend for the ultimate round of the 2017 Enduro Series French Cup by Parts 8.3 in Les Orres. A great show is about to happen and we invite you to be there to watch it closely!
