The North Shore is an ideal off-season training ground for Enduro World Series racing, and Remi Gauvin took full advantage this year. Remi is a new addition to the Rocky Mountain Urge bp Rally Team for 2016. Originally from Vancouver Island, Remi has a DH racing background and gets loose-as on trail bikes.
@jayacheess: I don't even remotely doubt it, especially having never ridden there (although I'm a PB commenter which makes me uniquely qualified to judge anything and everything from my enduro armchair). Simply saying the one in this clip looks a bit more buff than an EWS stage...
F@#$ me. This video got me so stoked to ride and pissed me off at the same time! Not even 24 hours after having moved/arrived in North Van, I had a stupid crash on my second run and broke my collarbone! Out until Sep 1st. Hoping to do easy trails before that. Can't wait to ride!!!
Good news is you can ride pretty much 12 months of the year for an average winter. Might have to make a trip to the Sunshine Coast or the island but might not have to leave your hood!
The riding gets better in the fall. Sept to Nov are probably my favourite times to ride the shore and same with Squamish. Heal up and then get it when its good!
2:15, first time I've seen it doubled-wasn't sure it could be done! Cheers to all our friends at RMB for showcasing lots of the NSMBA in-bounds work. Shaka!
Actually, due to the music this was the first time in quite a while that I actually enjoyed the slow-mo clips. Sick tune as well. Not what I'd think of when making a bike edit, but the editing really matched the music and I really enjoyed the result. And Gringo, I think you just didn't get the humor.
Cheers to all our friends at RMB for showcasing lots of the NSMBA in-bounds work. Shaka!
I can't even tell if I liked the video, music was so bad and inappropriate.
Remember Gringo - The Movie? Well, this is worse.
