Aaron Gwin’s Race Bike Stolen in Edinburgh
@chelsearockefeller: Statistics? This isn't anywhere near accurate. "Thousands of killings" are done by drivers using cars - which ironically, is also a machine designed to convert a small amount of chemical energy into a "lethal dose" of kinetic energy. A tool is a tool, and it can do as much bad or as good as the user wants. A car lets you kill 10 people easier than a firearm.

Knolly Endorphin

$1800 USD
For sale is my 2012 Knolly Endorphin. I built this and used it for trips to the mountains for the past 5 years. Selling to downsize, sold my DH bike as well, going to a larger trailbike. Rides great, incredible traction on tough technical ascents, solid 30-42 climbing ratio. Very responsive and fun! This is obviously a used bike, but very few blemishes other than cable rub, etc. Never cartwheeled or in any bad accidents. Zero creaks or noises! Size Small Fox Van R 36 w/service August 2018, 160mm travel - buttery smooth! Stock Fox CTD shock, 140mm travel Transition Trail wheels Cane Creek 110 headset SRAM NX 11 speed drivetrain 11-42 new as of Oct 2018 30T Raceface narrow wide chainring and cranks Guide R brakes w/recent bleed DNM Dropper post, Aug 2018 Chromag Lynx Saddle, Fubar bars, Ranger stem

Nicolai's Electronically Shifted Gearbox Enduro Bike - Interbike 2018
@Oldish: That doesn't make any sense. Why would you take an E-bike on the chairlift?

Review: NX Eagle - SRAM's New Affordable 12-Speed Drivetrain
@thenotoriousmic: For relatively flat XC riding this is true, but the bigger gears come into their own for big-mountain style riding where you may want to save your energy while climbing continuous 8 - 15 % grade for 2 or 3 hours to best enjoy the descent. These drivetrains are ideal for big travel trailbikes where sitting and spinning is the only way to get the heavier/squishy bike to the top. Sitting and spinning is also much easier on the knees.

The Rise Of Enduro - Behind The Scenes Part 1
Bookmarked this page purely for the comments haha. Enduro is a term created because marketing knows that anything "new" is going to sell. Freeride is an age old term - enduro is new! exciting! exclusive!... and expensive. [Companies lol-ing all the way to the bank.] Been doing this kind of stuff on bikes even before i heard of pinkbike, downhill, or even really knew that mountain biking was a 'thing'.

Life In The Loops - It Never Gets Old
Best article I've read on Pinkbike in a very long time. This is true mountain biking. This is what it's all about. I truly feel bad for the spandex-clad, strava-using, brand new carbon 29'er riding crowd too busy watching their HR monitor to say "whats up" back to me on the trails, except to perhaps glare disdainfully at my cheap ride and normal clothes. Not to say every ride is perfect (far from it) but if you don't find you're enjoying yourself, in tune with your bike and nature and in tune with the surface and features of the trail - you might as well sell your bike and spin a stationary at the gym. The true essence of the sport, the stoke, seems simply lost on those type of people. Tragic.
