 Reece Wallace = Steeze Wallace

"Steeze Wallace is seven feet tall!"

"Yes, I've heard. Rails berms by the hundreds. And if HE were here, he'd consume the mountain with steezeballs from his eyes, and bolts of lightning from his arse. Well I am Steeze Wallace!"

Finally! A bike edit I could watch in its entirety. With the sound on as well. Well done!
  • + 3
@gonecoastal: could'nt agree more, will be watching this video again and again in the near future. This isnt the first video Reece "Steeze" Wallace has nailed.

I usually don't comment but i can't help it. This is what riding is all about--having fun. The only way to improve and get really good in riding is to have fun. And that's what i see this guy doing. When you have fun riding, you naturally improve quickly. But when you try to push way past your limits--the fun goes away--and new problems arise like getting nervous and having demanding expectations on yourself. I also always ask my self this number one rule when i ride. "am i having fun". if not something is really wrong in my head which effects my riding. I see so many riders with super high expectations breaking legs and backs and just getting injured all the time. These riders feel stress when they ride because they are trying to accomplish higher skill immediately. On the other hand, the rider who is carefree, smiles when going fast downhill--doesn't have a worry in the world--advances in skills quickly through pure fun. Just remember how it was when you were a kid riding and go to the place again in your head.

Peace be with you!

Totally agree. From my own experience, I think when you can't get to parks or good flow trails regularly, you may try to cram too much skill building into the session. I'll always suck at some level of riding, but I can't think of a more satisfying way to lack mad skills.
  • + 2
Well said. Pretty much how and why I have gotten injured. Great edit also!
  • + 2
Damn. I thought I could get this good without practice and now you say I might get injured!?! In the words of Warner, "F* you mountain biking!"

There is never too many whistler edits..

Beats on point, production on point, riding on point.

I've decided i prefer the pinkbike media player to yourtube, and vimeo.
  • + 7
Especially now they've updated it on mobile too
  • + 16
@el-nombre: and the red bull media player, goodness I hate it, I hope red bull gets deeply embarrassed everytime they share something with that awful media player.
  • + 1
 @GumptionZA: ^^^^^^^^^^

Except it needs a social media share function to make it easy to send to all my friends who couldn't give a shit about mtb - in response to their 'look at my sandwich' posts.

I would bet my lunch money that riding like that is fun. I'll give up my lunch money for a week if somebody has a magic wand than can make a slow, out of shape 40 y/o ride like that. Uhh, please?
  • + 12
Well, not trying to be nasty here, but the being out of shape part is pretty much in ur own hands. Maybe it is a good thing you are giving away ur lunch money? :-)
  • + 1
@MTB-Colada: Hell, I know that, with a ton of practice and training and time to engage in these pursuits I wouldn't need a magic wand. Being slow and unskilled is also in my hands when ya get down to it.

So, you got that wand? I'll go to 2 weeks lunch money if you are playing hardball.

Sure that wasn't Brandon Semenuk? Sick style Reece!
  • + 1
 very good rider

 Wish I could crankflip yo.
  • + 2
sit on your saddle and have your feet on the pedals (flats) as you usually would. Then raise the front foot up facing 45 degrees, in the middle between fully up and flat. Then use that foot and drag backwards. making sure you hook your toes down as you pull back. Then if you use enough power, then just put your feet back, it's allg if it lands on the cranks while you're learning.

This video is the essence of the sport, what it's all about. Seriously. I wish I could do the manual landing nosebonky stuff in this video...
  • + 2
nosebonky stuff is super easy, just commit! the manual landing stuff is hard.
  • + 2
His no hander lander step up was really cool. It worked out perfectly because it wasn't jarring from coming down when he landed.
  • + 1
I was hoping he'd ride that right off the drop side
  • + 2
Cant do that. Can't do that. Definitely, can't do THAT?! Im starting to suspect that I might not be as good at riding as I thought.
  • + 3
perfect beat, perfect edit, perfect skillz & perfect bike. Yeah thats what i like !

  • + 2
Does the "chromag beats" have a name? Dl link maybe?
  • + 1
Every bike vid should be like this. A skilled rider with a chill beat. Let the riding speak for itself
  • + 2
