1992 Specialized Sequoia

$1000 USD
For sale is an original steel Specialized Sequoia. It was sold to me as a '92, which seems to be true; it's hard to find information on these very early models. I have read that the fluted seat stays mean it was built in Japan, and build and ride quality certainly lend themselves to that opinion. Size is a 55 square. Paint is in good, original condition, with a couple of chips on the TT and chainstay but zero dents or rust. I put a very solid, reliable town and gravel build on it. The frame has excellent clearance for an older rig and can fit up to a 700x40 tire. Right now it's on almost brand new 35c Gravel King slicks and is a rocket around town or on packed gravel. It has tons of braze-ons on the fork for mounting options and rear eyelets as well. Lots of fancy parts including: -White Industries 135 rear hub, overhauled and recently laced up to DT Swiss rim (matches spacing on this frame). Front wheel is an Ultegra hub laced to a Stan's rim. Decals on both rims are removable if you want them to look perfectly matched -Paul Components Cantilever brakes paired with vintage, period correct Real Design levers -Paul Components Funky Monkey front cable hanger -Nitto stem and custom DOOM bars w/ forward lean and backsweep -Wolf Tooth narrow wide on original Specialized Flag cranks -Gold Wolf Tooth bottle cage bolts -10 speed XTR derailleur and cassette paired to Microshift thumbie—super smooth and crisp shifting -Extremely low mile Gravel King tires, set up tubeless I'm holding onto the saddle and pedals—the bike will come with a Brooks C17 cambium saddle in excellent condition installed. Fresh brake cables recently added. Overall this is a beautiful and practical vintage rig. The ride quality is awesome and I've really enjoyed this bike. Selling to move onto a new project. I'd consider partial trades for interesting vintage stuff in a medium size range. I'm also open to doing a partial build/rolling chassis for the sale.

Titanium Bianchi Reparto Corse Mountain / Gravel Bike

$1500 USD
For sale is my early ‘00s Italian made Reparto Corse Bianchi 26” mountain bike. I built this up from frame and matching Flite saddle, including finding the period Vicious handmade steel rigid fork. This is a high end build using mostly American made components, including: Chris King hubs laced to Mavic rims with low mile Gravel King tires White Industries bottom bracket and crankset Paul brake levers to Avid BB7 brakes Shimano XT 11 speed drivetrain Thomson stem and seatpost with Rick Hunter designed Nitto bars Cane Creek headset Pink cage bolts that match the vintage seatpost QR have been added since these pics were taken The frame is in excellent condition, showing little wear on the paint beside the drive side chain stay from normal use. Zero dents etc. Seat tube measures 17.5” CTT; TT measures 22”. Your standard size medium for the era. This frameset has also been test fit with a 650bx1.9" SimWorks Volummy tire, so a somewhat high clearance 650b conversion is definitely possible. Overall this bike is extremely lightweight and ready for gravel riding / light single track (easily usable for heavier trails with a more traditional XC tire) or commuting. It’s easily worth more in parts than I’m asking here. The king hubs are due for an annual service. Pedals not included. I would consider trade for a steel canti brake ‘cross bike, but that’s about it.

1992 Merlin Titanium Disc; Black Sheep Fork

$1500 USD
This frame started life as a 1992 Merlin titanium 26. It has since been modified by legendary Ti welder James Bleakly at Black Sheep in Fort Collins, CO, who also made the steel, suspension corrected, 1" disc fork for this bike. I additionally had the cantilever studs removed and eyelets added in the rear. James's work is top notch and makes the disc tab look factory, neatly matching the original welds. Original Merlins from the early 90s are incredibly hard to find in this condition, and this ones been professionally modified with longevity and modernization in mind. I bought it off the original owner, who included a full factory (from his purchase in '92!) decal set, meaning you could easily take this frame back to its original glory. Zero dents or dings, and the titanium can easily be polished to shine. This frame came with a threaded bottom bracket—uncommon for the era and makes it compatible with modern cranks, verses the press fit versions which are nearly impossible to upgrade and maintain. The fork is in excellent condition and has fender and lowrider mounts, as well as Black Sheep's classic hooded dropouts. Its incredibly stout and rides great. It has a tiny, tiny spot of surface rust where a bolt from a rack rubbed the paint off the back of the crown hole as pictured. Overall, this is a special Merlin and made a wonderful commuter and gravel rig for me for a few years. Just time to move onto the next project. Sale includes everything pictured. Specs: 1992 Merlin Ti - 23.5" TT, 18.5" CTT (effectively a medium/large, closer to the latter) 1" threadless head tube Disc tab & eyelets by Black Sheep Threaded BB Green ano Wolf Tooth cage bolts 400 A/C steel Black Sheep fork w/ lowrider & fender eyelets Original 90's Salsa Flip Off Ti green ano skewers Chris King 1" headset Profile BMX 42CM x 22 clamp stem Would consider trade for a medium 29er hardtail + cash on my end.

Curtlo Fillet Brazed Hardtail

$1600 USD
For sale is a very unique and rare Curtlo hardtail steel mountain bike. With the exception of the unique head tube gusset, the bike is entirely fillet brazed, and was handmade in USA by Doug Curtis. It is in excellent condition overall. The bike was made around 2010, and has progressive geometry for the period. Its sliding dropouts allow it to run either a 26" or a 27.5" tire. It's currently on 27.5 wheels. The bike is somewhere between a small and a medium, closer to the latter in sizing. Seat tube measures 17" CTT, and the top tube is 22.5". The paintwork is in fantastic condition. The fork works, but could use a reseal. A factory recommended seal kit is included with the sale. MRP will also still service this fork. It was built with multiple cable bosses under the top tube, and could easily be run with an external dropper (27.2 seat tube). WHEELS: -Hope thru axle front hub -Sram x9 rear hub -Both laced to Stans ZTR Flow EX 650b rims DRIVETRAIN: -Shimano SLX m660 group -Deore XT M775 brakes Pedals aren't included. Will ship at buyer's expense.

Middleburn RS8 X-Type Square Taper Cranks

$175 USD
Immaculate condition Middleburn RS8 square taper crank arms. I bought this crankset from the UK. They are as close to new old stock as it gets. Beautiful tapered design and engraved logos. BCD is 94/58. These were meant to go on a vintage mountain bike, and being square tapered, will fit most of your vintage projects. Let me know if you have any questions; also interested in trades for a Ti 27.2 0* seatpost. Thanks!
