First Look: 650B GT Fury Downhill Bike
Have to agree with you Kazman. An enjoyable ride is what you perceive to be the perfect run. Flying 40' through the air, doing tricks, fast and flowy or technical. For me technical runs are a new challenge every few feet. I tried a 29 last year on a non run like on the video and it was painful. Check out a video on Pinkbike that Brad Walton did. "2012 Cove STD on the North Shore" I watched this, went out an bought the bike, no regrets and tons of fun

The only thing I disagree with is the garage and not the bedroom which is where you keep your most cherished things

First Look: 650B GT Fury Downhill Bike
Like 99% of Pinkbike followers, I have a day job that does not involve racing for a living. We don't have $10K carbon fibre frames and could care less about wheel size. We ride for fun and to challenge ourselves on different runs and hills which is why I'll take my Heckler down B Line instead of my STD. Let's face it, a bike is 2 triangles, 2 wheels and a few of pivots. The quality of the bikes has really improved over the last 5 years and they are lasting longer. This is just a marketing approach to increase sales.

Race Face - Made in Canada
My Heckler has turbine crank set & BB, my Cove STD has NW, Atlas cranks and BB. No repairs, no problems, no maintenance = peace of mind and all day riding. Who says RF is expensive compared to cost of ownership and a smile on my face after every ride.

Cove 2012 STD Review
I've been riding a beefed up Heckler for a number of years and found it handled all the blue runs @ Whistler with ease. This bike taught me finesse rather than bashing down a run. But who wants to be bothered with smoothness and well maintained trails.I demoed Spec, R.M., Giant, the works. Bought a 2012 STD, Elka, Totem 1.5, 40MM, XO drive a month ago. The bike is an absolute blast 39.7 lb. I can throw it around like the Heckler and who cares about finding the best line to ride. Set your suspension, point downhill, hold on for the 2nd biggest thrill in your life.
