When the weather turns sour, Whyte rider Daryl Brown takes to his e-MTB to make the most of sliding around in the winter slop. Winter rides in the UK are typically messy affairs, requiring extra dedication and motivation. Luckily, an eeb makes getting out in the hills much easier, opening the door for some proper winter fun.
I wish that was winter here. There is no snow on his trails. We have 4’ of snow - I cannot build trails - only cut trees which will be 4’ stumps in may when the snow melts.
BooHoo I guess we'll just have to make do with 1. phenomenal summers & shoulder seasons, 2. no people and 3. huge mountains will amazing access for bikes
@plyawn: I lived down south, in Red Deer for a year. It was great. You are correct! But we have snow 7 months a year at least up here. Then 4 months of terrible shoulder season. And most of the only good trails here I had to build. No mountains, just 200m hills. But good initial assumptions there bud!
honestly...more terrified of the wet leaves than the ice. At least with the ice you know you don't have grip. Hit a wet root under those leaves, good bye.
What trail? This is a UK riding video. I dont think they even have trails over there b/c every video are dude slashing down what looks like a virgin hill
I wish English winters looked like Canada ones! God damn jet stream ruining the fun! Our winters are just a mish mash of all the seasons with more rain and like a week or 2 of slight snow if we're lucky.
Seems like it should be the other way around. Meat-powered hardtails and slop go like peas and carrots.
