2020 Transition Sentinel Carbon Frame, 29”, Medium I bought this as a full bike second hand, back in September 2020, I think the original owner purchased it at the back end of 2019). It has taken everything I’ve thrown at it in its stride, from local evening laps, to all day epics, it climbs well, but it is definitely in its element on steep technical trails. A real all rounder that loves tech! Well maintained and regularly service frameset, it has a fresh set of bearings fitted just two rides ago, and the headset bearings have plenty of life left in them. I had the shock serviced in 2021 by sprung. Downsides This is a well used frame, generally the appearance is good, but there are a marks in the inivisiframe coating. There is a small score mark near the rear brake mount(pictured), which has always been there for as long as I’ve owned the bike. The reason for the low price, is there is some play in the rear end which I’ve not managed to track down, I’ve changed a lot of the linkage hardware, which has improved it, but is still occasionally noticeable, mainly through high speed chatter, It has always been present for the whole time I’ve owned it, and generally you don’t notice it, but I couldn’t sell the frame without a heads up. Selling my Orange P7 29, I bought the bike on cycle to work scheme in January 2020, and I’m selling as it’s too similar to my enduro bike, so doesn’t get much use.
