2016 Winter Gear Review - Part Two
@VT2wheeledlife Clearly you've never left VT in the winter if you think everyone has snow in January. Personally, I'm happy to see a huge review of cooler weather gear, rather than this just being a review of 1 jacket.

Trade-in Your Old Lid and Get 25% Off a New Bell Helmet
Just peal them off - they're stickers. It's what I did, and the MIPS helmet fits great like my old Bell.

Brain Injuries in Mountain Biking - Are We Doing Enough?
Hard not to get choked up reading Lorraine's story. I've tried to follow her updates and was glad to see her image pop up in a PB story on an EWS event. A year out from the injury and sporting glasses and a cain, you know it's still a daily struggle for her. You're not alone, Lorraine! Keep fighting and don't ever stop. You're in my thoughts frequently when I ride. Same with Paul B. Man I love this sport, but it's equally terrifying.

Line Choice in La Thuile, EWS - Video
Would love to see some slow-mo of line choices through nasty rock gardens. It's interesting watching how bike handling, line choice, and suspension come into play for those situations.

La Thuile in One Minute - EWS Round Four, La Thuile, Italy
You can see Graves is looking back at her. Graves is off-line standing on a rock. Ravanel just happens to be off-line, as well for some reason. Graves jumps out of the way right as she moves back on line. Maybe he should have been standing back a bit further, but judging from what we can see of that section, it seems like a relatively safe spot - at least to me. Looks like an unfortunate situation all around. Thankfully nobody seriously hurt.

Troy Brosnan's and Jared Graves' Specialized S-Works Stumpjumpers - EWS Round 4, La Thuile, Italy
"To be honest, they [the aluminum Renthal bars] were the only ones we had in the van." Grave's race writeups for Yeti were some of the most detailed I've ever read from any racer. It was clear he thought through every angle and had reasons for everything he did on his bikes. It's almost painful to read this :( I miss Graves + Yeti.

Schwalbe Evo Aerothan Innertube - Review
I ride tubeless. Stans deals with most punctures. Maybe twice a year I need a tube to get me home. My weekly rides are front range colorado with 2K ft climbs in 90 degree heat. I'll happily throw down $25 for this tube given how little it weighs, and how much space it frees up.
