You can cut the steer tube, we want you to ride it, but you make a good point. Modified would include things like someone drilling a hole in an air piston rod to accommodate a different travel setting, or trying to re-tune a shim stack, or filling a fork or shock with oils or lubricants different from stock....Modifying is meant as something different from normal installation.

Hi, I have a velvet r that I've been dj/street riding with for a few months now. Its making terrible popping and cracking noises when I turn or land. What is it and how can I fix it?
