Class video. The track is looking mad! Hope Hill is in good shape for the final. By the looks of his bike, new neckbrace = good idea.

national pride is for people who have nothing else to be proud of.
new track looks dope though, the change was necessary.

With the 2010 World Cup kicking off this week I have a feeling that a rather large percentage of the world's population will be showing some national pride. All idiots, right? Guess you won't mind if Australia kicks Germany's a** in their opener. Here's to hoping, go Australia! Go USA!!! I hope us fat bastards can pull off a W over England just to shut PlumStick up.

*the "other" World Cup...
and if no one likes us why don't you all quit riding mountain bikes? we invented 'em. Put down your computer. No watching TV. Never get on an airplane. Don't drive a car. And for God's sake, don't call us the next time bayernbiker and his lack of pride countrymen come marching towards your shores...
It's cool. You might not like us but we still love you.

You know.... American's would seem less fucking retarded if you at least got our country's name right.
NEW ZEALAND YOU TURD. NOT AUSTRALIA.

American's in general. They all think NZ is a state of Australia, or just an island of Australia. They're the most geographically ignorant 1st world country in the world.

Not ALL Americans do. Many of us are globe savvy and fairly intelligent overall. BUT... we have a huge population and sadly I would have to agree that the majority are too busy watching MTV, shopping at the mall, or living a self-entitled lifestyle to be bothered with reading or educationg themselves. Don't get your panties in a wad there Shred-NZ, we won't be a 1st world country for much longer anyway... not at this rate...

ya i love america but with a president who doesn't do shit canada and england is lookin not so bad these days.... but anyway dont think that us americans think we're better than everyone else cause most dont but unfortunetly there are alot of ignorant a*sholes this side of the pond :/

erm dude half the things you mentioned are british inventions, i personally have no beef with americans sure some of you are narrow minded but im not gonna generalise for a country with a such a massie population.

What's with all the hate on Americans. Keep in mind that most of these bike components are American companies. So what if Americans are ignorant about the geography of the world, other countries have their bad side too. England with their ignorance on toothbrushes/ toothpaste, Australia with..... um..., I don't even know why Germany would even try bashing any other country with their history and all, and Canada with their imaginary army.

i never said anything bad about america, just about national pride.
you cant generalise for any country, not even a city. it simply doesnt make any sense.

i think everyone is speaking english because
A: a lot of ppl speak english over other languages, or
B: Translation sites have gotten better

Yeah, well Mr. Boulter, I'll tell my Grandfather that you said thanks. If not for him and Americans like him who VOLUNTEERED, you'd be speaking German.
samspec, I was wrong about some of those things (see, I ain't scared to admit it). The auto is generally credited to Benz, a German. The computer, though very debatable, could be credited to either an Englishman or a German, but we all know who perfected them.
Fact is, we are all here for mountain biking. Mountain biking is almost unanimously credited to Mr. Gary Fisher, Tom Ritchey and their band of dirty, long haired friends in CALIFORNIA. For some reason we still claim California as part of the USA.
Happy mountain biking, thank an American.

Sentinal13. I completely agree. There is too much arguing on this site when we all only joine it because we all have a love for 2 wheels, so instead of everyone acting like idiots we should all be celebrating that we have this site to go and talk to ppl from other countries about the sport we love.
