The guy said it was in test mode so i'm happy with a test level video too (though they must know someone who is less monotonous and repetitive); Still, I think it is a brilliant concept, cleverly put together. I choose my cycling companions by their general conversation, not their peddling power. I ride next to and push my GF up some steep hills, making cycling together less fun for both of us. This is a possible solution.
Besides, i'd just love take one of these things for a ride. Who wouldn't?

This would be one way of not having to get off of your bike to shuttle back up the hill but it just seems like it would be so heavy and annoying to have the extra weight, cables, etc. Good idea but I don't think this will be a hit on the MTB market.

very true, i dont know, but it seems like even manualing would be a tough task with that thing, but i guess you could get used to it
It would be nice to see that e-engine on their new DH bike! At least you woudn't need a lift to get you up the hill
