World Championships 2010

 Hummm it started raining when Hill went down. No he didn't get the nasty puddddding the last few riders got but he wasn't going down on full dry conditions. Did you ever broke yourself a collarbone ? If so would you race a month after ? Don't call Hill a wuss , maybe he had better track conditions.... What about his injury ? Did every other rider ride in the same injured condition ? Racing is strategic like it or not. It is a great Comeback. It surprised everyone. you first as i can see

 for fuck sake! Getting tired of all these weather arguments. I was fucking there on raceday and it rained when hill had his run too.

 First of all, xetal, Sam Hill didn't break his collarbone--he tore some ligaments. If he had broke his collarbone, he would have been out for the entire season. Secondly, I sure as hell would rather go down a track that was tacky from a little rain, giving me superior traction compared to my competition, than a soupy track with my vision impaired. Lastly, the person who was most surprised about this win was Sam Hill, as he states in the video that he knew his time was slow.

 powflend... i live in perth where sam hill has grown up and gained his knowledge and skill. i have met him on numerous occasions and he did not just tear some ligaments. he tore several ligaments, broke his collar bone, and dislocated his shoulder. now please do not give false information

 can i just say that changing weather conditions during a race is all part of racing.... sometimes it decides races sometimes it doesn't. deal with that shit. good on sam for getting the win. wish the vid would've showed a little more of stevie smith as i dont think anyone predicted he would've finished 2nd.

 At Xetal i broke my collar bone 3 weeks before a downhill race at fort william and i still did the race so dont try and say that sam isnt a wuss because of that i dont consider myself to be hardcore because i raced after 3 weeks and he didnt even break his collar bone and to take that long out of racing would me that he would be back up to full strenght for the worlds. I also agree with powfiend about it being a bit sticky on sams run and so much more so for the rest of the riders after him and you cant argue against it because i was speaking to danny hart after the race and he even said sam wouldnt have won if it hadnt have rained. So Basically he won and there is nothing that can be done about it the win was fair but to come up with stupid arguments to try and say that he would have won anyway is pointless all the arguments are rubbish and to idolise sam like this is frankly immature esspecially to say his win was the greatest come back of all time.

 @Rossd03: There is a BIG diiference between a broken collarbone and broken legaments in the shoulder..

 Bla bla bla. All i can say is Rossd your the man. Dude read my comment again , again , again. Your just not getting it. Now whatever you say you got from other riders is just frustrations. It is always upsetting to get worse conditions and know you could have done better. For your info i dont idolise Sam Hill and have no idea where you got that. I myself broke a collarbone as well and torn some ligaments trust me there is no way on the planet i could have won a race one month after. Not me not you.

 @ rossd...great freakin' story bro !!!....Sam Hill is the greatest....and his win at MSA is one of the greatest comeback in DH racing....

 i tore the ligements in my shoulder aswell and i didnt say YOU idolised Sam he won but he wouldnt have if the weather was a par for everyone and the same goes for troy and lewis

 please stop whining about the weather, its been almost a fucking year, if you dont like what mother nature throws at you in a race, there are plenty of indoor sports you can take up.
