A River City Rip

This short film captures the essence and fun that can be had riding one of Richmond’s more popular trail loops, Forest Hill Park. If you’re ever planning a trip to Richmond, or passing through, be sure to bring your bike. You won’t regret it!

I have heard so much about these trails, can't wait to head down! MTB will save the USA!

Well done vid. Too bad RIC doesn't have a very good trail system. No features? No gnar? No berms?
Judging by the comments above from 'dogtown', you have to deal with XC/lycra crowd that should stick to the road(my assumption) or just hike about the forrest. I grew up in RIC. Doesn't seem like they've progressed much since then. Are there any skillz parks with jumps, drops, wall rides, ladders, etc…?

Excellent. One of the nicest vids of the RVA trails I have seen.

One gripe: skidding looks cool on DV, but it's not cool for the trail. ("Shredding" is a frame of mind.)

Other than that, well done. See ya out there!

Thanks so much! Please note we did not skid on the trails in the making of this video. There may have been small bits of drifting where the tires broke lose at speed. However, there were no intentional skids or drifts through brake application, which does the real damage. We're proud members and contributors to the local trail system. We help build and maintain the trails, not destroy them. Thanks again and we're glad we could share our love for riding and the trails in an exciting way that resonates with some many others.
