TPC Museum Series #9: Joe Breeze

Meet the maker of the first purpose-built mountain bike, Joe Breeze. In this interview, Joe details the progression of his first bicycles; from the inspiration of his Schwinn Excelsior klunker to the nickel-plated Breezer Series 3. The Series 3 shown in this video is on display, along with other notable vintage bicycles, at The Pro's Closet's Vintage Bicycle Museum in Boulder, CO.

Great bike and don't sell it, ride it! That bike needs to be kept alive and on the trail!

zero intention of ever selling it.

drive side Breezer drop out has been bent and twisted in every direct so, I don't think I'll ever set it up with gears again and the seat tube was cracked 80% thru down near the BB shell but, I had a guy weld it for me so its good as new at that intersection.
