Badger - all way from top to bottom

Coming down Badger on my Nomad. I don't think I am any faster (yet) than when I was riding my old GT, but the Nomad is more stable and easier to ride at higher speed over rocky sections. Still getting used to its 2-inch longer wheelbase trying to go around tight switchbacks.

thats a raging run down Badger there Katz! 2 parts that made me laugh: the "buzz kill pedally section" & the jump into the rocks @ 8:50 (not really funny, but i giggled cause i have done the same thing). I thought you were clean through the switches & looked real quik in the lower mile.

I thought for sure parts of my body were going to become hamburger meat @8:50!

I ride with my left foot forward and I generally turn right better than I can turn left, but oddly, I seem to turn left much better when I attempt nose manuals on switchbacks. You can see I stall halfway on right hand switches. Need more practice.

I think my line is alright through the lower part, but I run out of steam after that pedally uphill as evidenced by my heavy porno breathing. I usually botch a couple of turns (7:24 and 8:18, for example) and coast a lot sitting down on the saddle like Dannenberger.

I think my time from the top to the sign-in box was like 15 minutes flat on my raw footage. I don't know how you guys can ride this trail in 12 minutes...

Nice riding old friend. Didn't know you bought a Nomad. Excellent choice, especially for your type of riding.

Nice riding mate. Looks like the Nomad is working out pretty well for you.

Cheers, Blair. The Nomad is a way better bike than my skill level deserves. I can make a bunch of mistakes and the bike still makes me look like I know what I'm doing, haha.
