 Nuts. Had to feel so scary. You said you didn't commit, but it sounded like you seat buzzed off the lip anyway. You did the right thing, bail as early as possible. If you held on any longer and still bailed, you would have came down right smack on top of your head. Worst case scenario style. Bailing as early as you did kept you from rotating and let you come down on your back.
