No chance of a massive pyro plastic explosion ?
You camped up there.
The free rider in me sees a free ride opportunity down the fresh slopes.

We were 6kms away at campsite as bird flies with a 800m saddle between our site and the very active fumarole. Oh yes you can certainly bike those slopes! Not too much environmental impact as the slope gets reset every 15 minutes by pyroclasts and lava flow. Would be very exciting dodging objective hazards to get to the bike spot. But oh the brown pow, roost and dirt kickout potential would be unmatchable
