I used to grow Shiitake mushrooms and enjoyed eating lots of them until I couldn't digest them any more. Now I'm probably allergic from overindulging lol

 Ohhh no way?
I didn't know that was possible, Im the only one who eats them in my family so I need to be careful.
They are packed with all kinds of goodness for our bodies, Im sorry you can indulge any longer!

Oh man, I love Avocados and they grow abundantly in California. Thats just a little too bad but we can make other dishes you may love very much.

What was that bike Jax was riding?

Thank you brother, just a totally random video! I planned on ridding but as you can see the weather wasn't permitting! hahahahhahha That bike that Jax is on is Grandpa's, I was fixing it up for him and Jax was testing it out for me! Its super zippy despite is small stature, I think it was made as a city commuter to be compact for parking and storage as it folds up. I love BBQ's!!!!!

I didn't know your cars are opposite driver side. Nice vid with interesting sights and sounds.

Yes, we drive on the left side her. I would go out on a limb here and say that mostly everything here in Japan is the opposite comparing to the US. lol
Now that I have been driving on the left side for about 16years, when I go home I make many mistakes, then I get used to driving on the right again and when I come back, I make mistakes! Its funny but some of the most simplest things in life can be very confusing! Wink

@nikoniko: As an athletic instructor I found good habits to be more powerful than skill initially and strangely its importance is not recognized because different cultures use different habits . Habit makes us comfortable and new is hard to adapt . In our head that little voice says ,you drive on the wrong side of the road, hahaha. Just a silly thought about human cultural conflict .

I like that a lot! "good habits are more powerful than initial skill"
Thats something to remember and makes sense as I think we learn from repetition and cognitive situations over time.
Its always such a great feeling and still deep ponder about how the culture here and then in the US are vastly different for the same situations. Human culture shouldn't conflict but it does, I often have to catch myself as I tend to point out better ways of doing things to people here but my wife keeps reminding me, the do things as they have remembered it and its not my place to tell them about my ways! lol humbling! Thank you very much! You help me understand things a little deeper and will help me in my classes.

@nikoniko: I like mine too, but it feels a little short. Wish they would have made a longer version.
  • + 1
Yes, I kind of feel the same. Im 6' spot on and was riding a 40mm stem, then last year I went to a 60mm stem and that improved things greatly!
But, I guess living in Japan I have become used to riding little bikes, lol
  • + 1
@nikoniko: ha, that's what I did! Had the 40mm octane stem on it and it seemed a little twitchy, so I put the 60mm spank on it and felt a little safer.
  • + 1
Its funny becasuse I was tricked into thinking shorter was better for a long time! ahhahahh
