I just love natural tight single track. Beautiful to ride and look at. If that was on the Shore they would scrape away the loam and moss and deposit ample amounts of golden dirt to make it smooth and easy......... I know there is no logic to such endevors just lots of people that like smooth buff trails.

Have there been a lot of claims on the shore or something? Much of our trail system is gnar and there are only a few flow trails. I don't mind them from time to time but it's not as though all trails are being smoothed out. It takes a lot of maintenance to keep a trail smooth

@conv3rt: Picture you have fifty people all organized to do some trail work.
None of them have actual trail building skills.
You end up with people moving buckets of dirt eager to dump it some where.
Like over those roots and rocks that make up the character of a trail.

@Sshredder: drag. Obstacles help improve my meager skills. I need those roots and rocks! haha

@conv3rt: The trail advocacy group does the best job theycan to please al users of the trails.
They know I need my gnar so i have my gnar trails to ride Smile

Thank you sir! It’s funny that you say that about the patrol. When I first got it I felt good but it’s been feeling better and better lately. I’m looking forward to this season when I’ll take it back out on some DH trails. Such a capable bike!

@conv3rt: yes, recently I have started to enjoy observing how people 'look' on their bike and not necessarily just what they "do". Geo is evolving rapidly right now..exciting times!

@buspilot: interesting. For years I’ve wanted a coach but no luck locally. I started doing these selfie vids and now pick out all my mistakes! The camera doesn’t lie. It’s interesting how our POV perception differs from a third party point of view. Once in a while I pull off some cool moves and convince myself to keep at it.
