2001 Orange 222 Full DH Bike £500

Excellent bargain DH bike, ready to ride and race.

2001 Orange 222, 16" frame.
2001 Rockshox Boxxers WC, originally cherry red but sprayed black, serviced with new oil and seals fairly recently.
Fox vanilla rear shock (I'm fairly sure, there's only a push tuned sticker on it now)
Hope Big 'Un front and rear Hubs
MRP chain device
Hope M4 front brake
Shimano XT 4-pot rear brake with braded hose.
Azonic World force bars and stem - bars 762mm wide.
Sunline lock-on grips
Sram X7 rear mech, X5 shifter.
Blackspire 38t Chainring, sram chain and cassette all new recently so everything works as it should, and should continue to do so for some time.
Saddle is pretty fecked (there isn't 222mm space between the wheel and where I have the saddle...) but you don't sit on it much so I never got round to replacing it.

I'm very reluctant to sell this bike but I'm moving to London and simply won't have the space to keep it or the opportunity to ride it on worthy tracks, combined with me being skint means it's up for sale. I bought it as a bike to get into DH and it's been excellent, and I've gone on to race on it a few times too. It's been very reliable in my time with it, only had to replace the chainring, cassette, and chain when the chain snapped, so everything now runs spot on. It's not as quick as a new uber-plush rig on the rooty techy stuff, but it feels good on big tracks and works very impressively for it's age and price. It's not mint, but it's a proper DH bike ready to ride. I've loved it and as a result don't particularly want to sell it, so stupid offers will be met with a firm response...
