Up for sale is my Sony HVR V1U in the original box, with all the original accessories as well as a hard shell carrying case and extra HDV tape.

The camera has literally been collecting dust for 4 years and is virtually brand new. It's in such good condition and working order that I want to call it new but then I'd be lying to you since I used it for a project a few years back. It has less than 20h on the heads and used to film for less than 10h.

You couldn't buy a used V1U in this condition if you tried.

Great camera for action sports such as bmx or skateboarding, as it can do high frame rates and even super slow mo at 240fps. TSN even used this camera for field work.

Not available in stores as it is a PROSUMER camera and still costs 4.3k new on special order.

I don't really want to trade it for much unless you've got a fox 40 + some cash or a DSLR set-up valued close to it.

I'm open to reasonable offers and I'm negotiable.

I've had it listed for 3k and have brought myself to almost reduce by half of what I originally hoped to get. I'm not very negotiable on the price however when it comes to shipping we can discuss a reasonable price w/insurance.
