177 Webley Omega Carbine

This is a good, used example of one of Webleys most sought after classic air rifles. It is for sale due to a lack of recent use and a change in interests.

Bought as NOS by me in about 1998, I think the year of manufacture is 1994 making it one of the last of these rifles to be made. It is a 177 calibre, which is a bit unusual for the short barrelled carbine version.

It comes with a 4-12x40 Simmons telescopic sight, 2 piece scope mounts (with the correct recoil pin for the rifle), a nice braided leather sling,a waterproof gun slip, iron sights and the original owners manuals for both the rifle & the scope.

It has been well cared for (ie kept clean, dried after use, oiled appropriately, never left cocked) but it has seen some use in the field and has a few minor blemishes but nothing that would detract from its use. There is a bit of a scratch on the cheekpiece of the stock, the barrel locking lever is very slightly bent and there are one or two tiny flecks of rust on the bluing (mostly around the breech).

It was chrono tested at 11.4ft-lbs by a friend back in December so still has plenty of poke.
