Sale is NOT for complete bike, but only the frame and parts listed below. The Fox Van RC is no longer included in the sale.
Used 2013 Banshee Spitfire V2 with Avy (Avalanche) SSD modded Fox Float CTD. Frame size is Medium and color is raw. I bought the frame brand new in September of 2013 from Red Barn Cycles in Montana. It has been used a fair amount since then, but ride time has been divided between it and another bike of mine. I have the frame priced well below the msrp and have some extras included in the sale as well!
The Good:
The frame is great shape with no dents or serious damage. It does have some scratches and cable rub marks here and there, but only cosmetic. It currently has the 26" inch 12x142 dropouts installed but I have been running a Maxxis High Roller 2 27.5 x 2.3 just fine with no issues or tire rub. Fitting a bigger Maxxis 2.4 High Roller 2 still fit, but it was close.
The Bad:
There's really no bad to report on the frame as it's less than a year old and has no damage. However...
The Fox Float CTD is due for a service as it's rebound is now pretty fast despite being set to the slowest setting. The seals are all in good condition, but it just needs to be serviced with the oil changed. Craig at Avalanche can perform this service for you should you want to run the CTD and find that the rebound setting is too quick for your liking. I believe it runs around $90 for a service. I weigh 175lbs all geared up and the shock has a large range of rebound adjustment.
