2014 Sicket V-10 on pinkbike

I’m letting go of my 2014 Santa Cruz Carbon V-10. Things are getting tight for me and thats why I’m getting rid of it. I’m going to be going to school at UCSC in a month and a half and onto of going to college the headgasket on my car just went. So what little money I do have will be sunk into finding something to take me to and from school. So I am selling my 2 most valuable possessions, my bikes.

I put this bike together in the middle of the summer in hopes to ride all over the place, guess what! Never happened. I had trips planned to go to whistler for a few weeks but when it came time to do it my boss told me that it was a vary critical time that i was going to take off from work. He didn't say no or didn't stop me, he just guilted me into staying. Gotta love the boss man.

What little time I did get to spend on it blew my mind! There is a reason that this bike has more world cup wins than any other bike on the circuit! It’s fast, fun and ready for anything. I thought my old freeride bikes were fun on the jump trails nope! not like this thing. This will compensate for any lack of riding ability you or I might have, I promise! While still being a demon when you want to go ride rocks and steeps. This thing gives you a sense of confidence that you never had! You will not find a better DH bike out there.

When putting this together I spared no expense. There is not a single thing that in my mind was better and available when the bike was built. The spec is the best of the best and it shows in performance. This thing came in at a whopping 28 pounds when I finished it and not a single part is so light that it compromises strength or performance. Yes I went for the lighter version on most of the bike but if I thought it would be a concern at 45MPH it never made it on the bike.

The bike has been professionally maintained and the majority of the bike was covered in protective 3M tape (see pictures). There are only 3 cosmetic issues all 1) 4 tiny chips in the fork paint (bottom of lowers, where the lowers were not taped). 2) Saddle rub from my pants 3) Slight pedal rub on the drive side crank arm.

Mechanically this thing is a new bike!

Long story short this thing is a World Cup ready race bike that will put the freeride kids to shame in the bike park. You're not going to find a sicker DH bike in pinkbike.
