Mavic Crossmax SX Wheelset

For sale is a 26" set of Mavic Crossmax SX wheels (2009ish). Front wheel is currently set-up for a 20mm thru-axle (although it can be adapted to 9mm quick release (adapters available from Mavic) or 15mm thru-axle (adapters available from Risse Racing)). Rear wheel is (was...) 135mm quick release.

We'll start with the bad news:
The bad news - I shattered a pawl in the rear hub - the broken pieces took a chunk out the hub body over which the freebub mounts - the rear hub body needs to be replaced to be ridden safely.

The good news - the front wheel is in excellent shape as is and apart from the aforementioned issue, the rest of the rear wheel parts (rim, spokes, axle, freehub body, etc.) are also in excellent shape. Bottom line, you have a great usable front wheel and could either replace the rear hub body or use the rear wheel as great source of spares if you already own this great wheelset. I will also include a brand new set of Mavic OEM pawls and springs for the rear hub should you wish to rebuild.
