Via pics on BMX Museum and a other input, this appears to be a mid 90's bike but I do not know for sure, I am trying to find a S# chart to get specific.
Polished aluminum frame, forks are Chromoly.
It was all original when I got it, I have all the parts except the grips and brakes that were totally shot. I might have the brake bits if your into restoring :)
EDIT: Canti brake bits all found, they were in ok shape, I changed them because it was a HUGE pain to adjust them and I had the LDC on the shelf.
So in short, for the restoration minded, I have all the old parts, cranks, BB, Seat and brakes.
I set it up so I could ride with my daughter on the track. I only did the race dad thing once :)
This is one COOL bike, has to be seen!
New Tioga Power Block 1.75" tires
Crupi 170mm cranks New BB
LDC brakes
Basic Welgo alloy flat pedals included
Fun to ride and VERY light for what it is.
Be that dad!! The one who gets to answer when the BMX veterans walk by and say "WOW check out that Mongoose!!"
