2013 Giant Yukon Whistler Bike Park 24" Downhill Bike

Good condition 2013 Giant Yukon 24" wheel kids downhill bike. This is the bike that is only made for the Whistler Bike Park rentals. The parts on this bike are higher quality than found on most kids bikes:

* Rockshox Recon Silver RL (rebound and lockout) air fork with 100 mm travel - recently serviced
* Rockshox with Monarch RT (rebound and lockout) air rear shock with 100 mm travel
* Avid Elixir 3 brakes with good condition brake pads - recently bled
* Sram X9 rear derailleur and X9 shifter
* Sram X0 chainguide (with new boomerang)
* Maxis High Roller tires with a new tire included in price of bike
* Velocity cliffhanger rims
* Canfield Brothers Crampon Pedals
* new rear cassette and chain

The frame has scuff marks on it as it was a rental but all of the parts are in excellent working order and the suspension is smooth without play. The fork has some scratches on one of the stanchions but they are filed smooth and cause no issues.

The bike is quite light for a kids DH bike (much lighter than a Stinky Jr) due to the quality parts, air suspension and light frame. This makes it easy for kids to move the bike around and ride or push it up hill when needed. With the air suspension, it is easy to set up the bike for your kid depending on how much they weigh and how hard they are riding. And with a low bottom bracket it is very stable.

I got the bike for my son about 18 months ago when he was 10 and he has now outgrown it's abilities plus he is big enough for an XS 26" bike now - he is 4'10" and 12 yrs old (just to give you an idea when you will have to upgrade). He had lots of fun it on B-line, Crank it Up, Espresso, Half Nelson, A-Line, Ninja Cougar and many other fun trails. It's a very capable bike and it needs a new home!
