Selling a 2013 Rockshox Vivid Air in great condition - a couple of scratches included in the pictures, but both are purely cosmetic and have been inspected by a shop to verify no performance impact whatsover. Has 1 ride on it since a full rebuild by a reputable suspension shop in Whistler - all seals, oil, and bushings were replaced. Shock does not include mounting hardware.
Since the rebuild, the shock has developed a sort of soft "clicking" noise when changing direction in the stroke. This has been explained by Rockshox to be a mid-year 2014 change in one of the internal shims that creates a slight clunking noise as it shifts while the suspension is being cycled. It is barely noticeable on trail and certainly not noticeable while pedaling a downhill bike, though a truly silent AM-type bike may mean the noise is a bit more noticeable. It does not have any effect on performance, and the price has been adjusted to reflect this very minor issue.
I'm happy to respond to any questions, cheers!
