Intense Uzzi Pro Bike 2016
If your only means to pedaling skyward is to turn around and bomb back down, then the Intense Uzzi is a sled bred for you, and rightfully so! “Freeride,” “super-enduro,” “gravity,” whatever you want to call it, the Uzzi is a farm and raised big-terrain long-travel gem. Built to take a big hit or two or five, the Uzzi features a VPP (Virtual Pivot Point) configuration known as “JS Tuned Suspension System” which rids the rig of unnecessary compression without compromising bump absorption. The finished product is plush travel without pedal bob and no need for lockout knobs or remotes.
Once you hit the negative percent grades the Uzzi snaps back into full consciousness and takes control. With a 180mm Fox 36 FLOAT single-crown fork, a 190mm Fox DHX2 rear shock, and an insistent geometry, the once sketchy descents quickly become your playground. Adding some muscle is the hydroformed aluminum frame with a 148mm Boost rear-spacing alloy chassis which ensures an overall sturdier and stiffer ride with precision tracking. Equipped with two different shock mounting positions, riders have the option to choose from either a 65° head angle and 425mm chainstay length, or a 64° head angle and 429mm chainstay length.

The Pro build’s component carnival starts with SRAM’s X1 1x11 dominated drivetrain which delivers premier pedaling performance that will keep you jetting down the run with plenty of control and responsiveness, and a gear range that will get you up and over pesky climbs. This stallion gallops on a pair of Stan’s Flow EX 27.5 wheels, offering tubeless compatibility right out of the box. Located on the Renthal/Thomson cockpit you will find the controls for the powerful SRAM Guide Brakes. Augmenting the versatility of the already stellar Pro build is a RockShox Reverb Stealth 150mm dropper seatpost that’ll allow you to crush both the descents and climbs like a bossman!
