Well summer tyres will save a bit when winter finally shuffles off. The seat is awful and needs replacing asap. The crankset is now a diablous DH which may have shaved a little off. I guess it's a combination of a lot of slightly hefty bits that add up over the whole bike. Doesn't really bother me though, it doesn't feel heavy when you stamp on the pedals

are xt cranks good for dh? i have a set but they are on my xc bike. it would surely save on weight but i dont want to tear them up.

They work fine for me. I've run them on previous DH bikes as well, I'm 200lb and I've never had a problem.

Currently at 38.7lbs with a Ti spring and king BB. Changing rotors and doing a full black Ti hardware kit.

32 lbs 4 oz. Now has red cassette and rear drlr and some changes done. Need to reweigh it....

The v3 is so much more stable and super plush. It's basically my old v2 with what i'd have changed about it, put in place.
