I've just finished assembling my new orange five and loving it so far, but I have a problem.
It has xt brakes and whilst they are working fine they come back near the bars and when grabbed hard nearly touch the bar. I prefer my brakes to have an instant bite point.
How can I adjust them?
Thanks

The exact opposite of this common thing would be to find your brake lever is now close to the lever after replacing worn-out brake pads, forcing a re-bleed which puts things right back where you are at.

If only there were shallower pads to set the pistons that much better...Big Grin

Advance your pistons, carefully - do a search but basically its just pushing the pistons out a little with no pads fitted and then refitting pads.

Cheers mate I'll see how it goes, been on a good ride today and felt really comfortable 1 finger braking closer to the bars. Very happy with there performance too.
