Dig how it turned out. It rolls slower than my old bike though. Does it take a bit for the bearings to loosen or are thes dt 350 hubs just that slow? This 380 fork if sweet. Still haven't got my rear dialed. No banging or clanging though.

Slower rolling tires?

Posted: Sep 30, 2015 at 8:40 Quote
Hello everyone,I'm a proud owner of a Meta HT SX currently set with a RS Sektor RL. I want to upgrade the fork, interested on a Pike RCT3 but the one option that I could get is a 160mm. In the tech document of Commencal they recommend a 520mm length fork, the pike is 542mm...
So, is it too risky using that fork in my frame? does all this travel worth in a hardtail?

Thanks!

You can change the travel of a Pike by changing to a shorter air shaft. I think the sram tech docs document the process even.

could be. I've read the nevegals are slower. Oh well I'm to cheap to spring for new ones.

Exactly, ST in the rear wears pretty quickly and the higher volume tire is better up front.

Anyone know what commencal jerseys sizing are like? I'm normally xl in clothing and have the chance to buy L. Just normally bike jerseys are way bigger.

I'm usually a Large, and I have some of their Team jerseys, If possible go for the XL, as my sleeves were a little tight.

Hi all,

I need to change my bottom bracket on my Commencal DH supreme 2013. I know that it is BB92 press fit, but the problem is I'm running the E-Thirteen crank which has a 30mm spindle, therefore the bottom bracket is some sort of adapter. It looks like all there is are the bearings and a plastic bushing insert either side.

I'm struggling to fing a replacement so any help would be great!

Also, would i need a special tool to install the bottom bracket or will i get away with a standard bearing press?

Cheers

Steve
