I just got commencal supreme racing.
It has a black sleeve in the headtube to alter the head angle by 1 degree.
The question is, will it be a problem if i take out the sleeve and put the headset into the headtube directly?

It might give me the chance to put a tapered fork in it.

Anyone ever done this before??

Hi all
Have a mystery creak on my '09 Meta 4X (pictured, and no, the paintjob was not my idea), which I think is down to bushings or bearings. Does anyone know the torque settings for the main pivot bolt? the other pivots are all straightforward M5s but I cannot find a setting for those main bolts to save my life.

Cheers in Advance!

I'm guessing you mean a V2? Having owned a V2, I wouldnt trust anything not inside the sleeve. I would assume it would be a problem since they didn't design it around a 1.5 or tapered headtube

Ahhh... oke.
Actually i don't know if its V2 or not.
It says supreme racing and it has e2e shock 20cm.

Anyway, if i can't put a tappered fork in it then i guess i have to find an old fork.
Its kinda bummer since i thought i can put a mattoc or pike in it.

Does anyone use air shock at Supreme V3? I have Supreme V3 FR version and I'm going to try Rock Shox Vivid Air and it would be cool receive any feedback from real users of air shock. Also, Vivid Air R2C rear shock is available in three different damping configurations (low, mid and high compression). So, which Vivid will fit Supreme V3 best and how it feels compared to coil one(currently I'm using Fox RC4).
Thanks in advance!Smile

Hello all,

I am a proud Commencal Meta AM V3 owner for a month now and just love the bike. I have a question though - are there any shock upgrade options? Currently I am with the Fox Float RP2

O+

Depends on what year your meta is.
My 2013 could not even fit a fox evol chamber.
