Hi, I plan on jumping head first into down hill next season. I'm a long time BMX and DJ rider with the occasional cross country riding. I was originally looking for a 2011 or 2012 Demo 8, I've been finding them around 2000-2200. I recently came across a 2011 Flatline word cup with the fox 40 front fork for 2700 and looks in new condition. Its a little more then I originally wanted to spend. I can talk him down but I was curious if this bike was a good deal. I know nothing about Rocky mountain and no the Demo is a great bike. I test rode a few Demo and I love the snap of the frame. Thanks a lot.

If this helps I'm a large rider 6'3 about 230.

Cheers
Andrew

Specialized demos and bikes are kinda prissy. They are kinda like a lexus vs a toyota in terms of parts. I got a bad deal and rebuilt the hole bike it was like 1600$! And I love it but just know all that
