9spd Saint to 10 spd?

Will a 9spd Saint Rr Derailer work for 10 spd? Model rd-m810-a-ss. I dont see why not if I have a 10 spd shifter and cassette?

I agree with you since the indexing is already done by 10 speed shifter and the range of lateral movement in rear derailer would be the same for both 9sp and 10spd. But hopefully someone can confirm.
