I have the 831's and i love the hell out of them. they moved to the 36 mil chassis this year which suits me as I'm a big dude and the kashima coat on the stanchions gives a great feel plus high speed compression, low speed compression and rebound adjustment are pretty easy to work so no complaints there.

I will say that i haven't ridden the pike on anything serious yet so i cant say much there
